Hip Hop and Latin Dance Shoes

You may have noticed that although we're doing moves like the Beyonce Booty Shake and the tantalizing salsa hip shake, we are still wearing high heeled shoes instead of sneakers in our Learn To Dance Videos. So as hip hop and pop dancers, what kind of dance shoes do we wear out to the club?

Living in New York City, we have some lucky access to several amazing dance shoe stores. And just like most girls, we can't resist buying a new pair once we have gone in. Our favorite latin dance shoes? We prefer skin toned, open toe flexible high heels. To really shake it at the club, we need to have some sole flexibility while keeping our ankles still.

While every dance has her own list of her favorite dance shoes, in the case of our instructional dance videos, we wore Aida-Karina shoes which gave us the flexibility we need to provide you girls with over eight hours of instructional dance videos.
