How To Dance In A NightClub

If you’ve been searching for how to dance in a nightclub you found the right place…

First, let me tell you what doesn’t work:

Ballroom, salsa, tango… basically classical, formal styles of dancing.  This just looks silly (unless of-course you’re in a salsa club).

Here’s what else rarely works:  Memorized dance routines.  Even if their hip hop dance routines.  Unless you’ve got the skills of someone in Step Up 3D, it just looks like you’re trying way too hard to impress someone.  And it has the opposite effect you want it to have.

So what works then?

Simple, laid back, cool looking dance moves.  There’s no genre called “club dance moves”… so if I were to describe them I’d say hip hop based dance moves that are simple and don’t involve taking up a lot of space.

The idea here is to find several go to moves and learn how to do them well.  That’s the key.  Anyone you see and who you think is a good dancer rarely has 10 moves that they do… they just know 2 or 3… and they do them over and over and over.

And if they’re dancing with a girl they’ve learned how to spin her around a couple of different ways (to not make it boring) and they know how to move they’re hips to grind with her.
And chances are these aren’t complicated moves they’re doing.  If they were to show you how to do them you’d probably pick each move up within 15 minutes.

I’ve teaching guys here in Manhattan, who just like you, wanted to learn how to dance in nightclubs, and I’ve come up with a system that teaches you club specific dance moves step by step.
